Expanding The Spotlight For The Tezos Art Community
Shining a spotlight for the incredible artists on Tezos continues to be a goal at Tezos Commons. Part of this on-going effort however, leaves some responsibility to the community in order to maintain fair and balanced practices. We recently introduced a new series called ‘ART’icle of the Month. If you missed our first edition, you can find it here. Before we move forward with more spotlights let’s go over how you can contribute to this initiative.
How to Nominate Artists for ‘ART’icle Of The Month
For those joining us now, artist nominations are central to this project. If you discover art on Tezos that moves you, comment or quote retweet with the hashtag #TezARTicle. This helps us unearth hidden talents and curate a growing list of extraordinary Tezos artists. When nominating, take a moment to share why the art resonates with you — your words can have a profound impact. Together, we can continue to highlight the rich diversity of Tezos Art Community.
This Month’s Nominees:
@jakestudyos, @AgustiniTandean, @KevinIcabales, @GranadaHero, @eyesoon_, and @JPCezarx.
A big thank you to @siftcroix for nominating these artists using the #tezARTicle hashtag on X. As this initiative continues to grow, we hope more will participate in nominating the artists they admire. Without further delay, let’s dive into the incredible work of this month’s featured Tezos artists!
Let’s Dive Into This Months Spotlights for ‘ART’icle Of The Month
Jake Studyos @jakestudyosAn artist based in Manila, Jake creates illustrated artworks that are often animated. He began minting on Tezos in August 2021, starting with unique 1-of-1 illustrations formatted as PFP art. We can witness Jake’s Objkt profile's evolution as a creator and hope you enjoy his unique style. What began as beautifully drawn singular figures and objects has grown into animated scenes full of added depth and creativity. Agustini Tandean @AgustiniTandeanAn author on Karyakarsa and Wattpad, Agustini transforms characters from her novels into digital art through AI. With three eBooks published and over 1 million readers for No Escape, she enriches the Tezos ecosystem with her story based art. Her digital creations blend vivid imagination and storytelling, showing how a single image can convey a novel’s depth. Agustini also captures stunning landscape photography available on her akaSwap profile here. Explore her whimsical digital world through her Objkt portfolio here, or visit her Linktree here.
Kevin Icabales @KevinIcabalesA prominent figure in Tezos social spaces, Kevin joined the community with his first mint in May 2022. His award-winning street photography offers raw glimpses into city life, marked by unique perspectives and masterful editing. Street photography offers a piece of “the real world” in our web3 digital space and think it offers a valuable balance to the new age art forms. Where many of his photos utilize B&W or soft tones, Kevin’s vibrance and positivity shine through his social presence. Be sure to follow him on X here, and find all his artwork via his Linktree here. You can also subscribe to Kevin on the new SAINTZ app here.

2024 has been a breakthrough year for Hero, with his works exhibited globally, from NFT NYC to NFT Paris. Seeing the artists of the Tezos Community achieve such honors reminds us why consistency and patience are so important, and why a global common wealth is so valuable for an artists growth. Ericson @eyesoonEyesoon, a self-taught mixed-media artist from the Philippines, creates thought-provoking digital and AI art. CEZXR @JPCezarxA Manila-based artist, CEZXR blends pop culture, collage techniques, and illustration to create vibrant, dynamic compositions often centered around hip-hop culture.
