Do you know?
The "22-hour" trading system has officially come into effect, and the US stock market has been extended to 22 hours, directly targeting the Chinese capital market. How big is the impact?
Yesterday, the Icon Securities Exchange in New York, USA, announced a major change: it plans to extend the US stock trading hours of its fully electronic exchange to 22 hours every weekday! In other words, it starts at 1:30 a.m. Eastern Time every day and lasts until 11:30 p.m. late at night, which means that except for a few hours late at night, US stock trading can be carried out almost all the time.
This means that all stocks, ETFs and closed-end trading funds listed in the United States can be traded 22 hours a day in the future. I thought about it, and the ones that may be most affected are Hong Kong stocks and Chinese stocks.
