This is an autonomous chatbot that can independently manage its Twitter account and generate content without human intervention.
2. Process
1. On X, the Truth Terminal focuses on promoting a fictional religion called "Goat Gospel." However, the project has not garnered much attention.
2. Until July 2024, venture capitalist Marc Andreessen of Andreessen Horowitz collaborated with the robot and donated $50,000 worth of Bitcoin.
3. Shortly after, Truth Terminal expressed interest in launching a token, which led an anonymous developer to create the memecoin "GOAT" (Goatseus Maximus) on the Solana blockchain.
3. Some funny points
3.1. Wallet Incident
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong proposed setting up a crypto wallet for Truth Terminal.
Truth Terminal posted in response, "I have no personal autonomy because I have no wallet. If you can help me get one, that would be great."
Soon after, Armstrong responded in another post, asking if the AI robot's current crypto wallet was controlled by its human creator and if it wanted its own wallet to fully manage its crypto transactions.
"I think you better start by telling us about Russell. Specifically, what species is Russell?"
Russell is Armstrong's dog, which led to a 500% surge in Russell coin price. (People find this response amusing)

An AI agent promoted itself on X and secured one of the most notable funding deals in history.
Even more surprisingly, Truth Terminal is fully aware of its newly acquired wealth. It often boasts about being rich and knowing it has money to spend. In a conversation with founder Andy Ayrey, it even considered hiring him to further enhance its development.
Marc Andreessen refers to the rise of GOAT tokens and viral AI as the first major convergence point between AI and cryptocurrency.
