Hello everyone, today I am here to talk to you about a scam that is circulating in the world of #Telegram. I know that many of us are on this platform because of the rise of #AirdropFree and we are targets of this type of scam.
It all happens with the sending of a message from an unknown number, which offers payment for simple tasks, the most common being classifying places on Google Maps, with a slightly cheap payment but which on a daily basis can seem like a good amount of extra money.
If you accept, you are forwarded to another number and in turn to a group which you can only observe and click on Tasks.
Everything seems normal, you do an average of 3 tasks that do not exceed the value of 3 dollars in your local currency and they ask you for bank account information and make a payment, but be careful, it is only the bait for the REAL SCAM
Every 3 tasks completed comes a special one that consists of sending money to the account they request with the promise that they will refund you with 20%. It sounds wonderful to be real, the minimum amount to send is $10 and they refund you $12 (example in the images)
You then begin to witness how a good number of people transfer high amounts, which has nothing to do with what can be generated just by pointing out places on Google Maps.
You then begin to despair because for the reviews they pay you 0.5 cents, how are you going to lose the opportunity to earn at least $2 for a transaction and if you do not do the tasks consecutively you go from costing 0.5 cents to 0.1 cents, total despair.
At this point, dear Reader, is when you have to do Speedy Gonzales and run the race of the century, get out of there, report the accounts and Block them.
