The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved 11 Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to list and trade options linked to the cryptocurrency on the New York and Chicago stock exchanges.
The commission gave the first approval to trade Bitcoin derivatives funds to BlackRock last month in the United States.
This comes at a time when Bitcoin funds recorded positive inflows of $1.6 billion last week, bringing the total value of Bitcoins under management by these funds to $20 billion since their launch in January of this year.general.
