New season of Hamster Kombat will have a new format.
The Hamster Kombat game on Telegram is undergoing a significant change, which will be seen in the upcoming season, with a focus on creating and releasing new games.
Telegram’s popular tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat is set to launch a new season later this month, following the token launch and airdrop in September. The game’s main new feature has already been announced.
While the first season of Hamster Kombat was based around running a fictional cryptocurrency exchange, the second season will focus on building a video game platform and developing games for that platform.
On Thursday, the developers released a short video, showing a preview of the new miniapp interface on Telegram, as well as highlighting the main activities of the season.
In the images, players are shown choosing the type of game to be developed, defining the genre and theme. These activities will take a few days to complete. It will also be necessary to recruit new members for the studio, in addition to maintaining the “tap” mechanic and the daily combo from the first season.
Although the video is short, it confirms that Hamster Kombat will undergo major changes in the next season, but will still maintain some of the elements known to players.
Last week, the developers of Hamster Kombat announced that Season 2 will launch in late October, with a new airdrop scheduled for next summer after the season concludes.
Hamster Kombat is currently on a short “break season” where players can collect in-game diamonds, which the developers say will come in handy in Season 2.
