Republican candidate Donald Trump's cryptocurrency project, which is preparing for the US presidential election, still falls well short of its $300 million target.

According to the information on the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) website, the project sold a total of 839 million 760 thousand WLFI tokens as of Thursday morning. Approximately $ 12.5 million in revenue was generated from these tokens, which were launched at $ 0.015 per unit.

Those who want to invest in the Trump family project can buy WLFI in exchange for Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), USDT or Wrapped Ethereum (WTH). According to current data, there are still 19 billion 160 million WLFI waiting to be sold.

The largest investor has been announced

According to Etherscan records, more than 10,000 users have participated in the WLFI sale so far. An address coded as “0x2d24” spent 351.3 Ethereum ($903,000) to purchase 60.43 million WLFI, making it the largest WLFI investor to date.

The project’s website launched the WLFI sale on Tuesday afternoon ET. The sale was disrupted for a while after it began. About $5 million was sold in the first hour. But the Trump family is looking to raise $300 million from the initial sale, giving it a total valuation of $1.5 billion.
