An unknown trader spent 5 SOL ($727) to buy 15.5 million GOAT meme tokens. Four days later, he sold 5.7 million GOAT for 5949 SOL (~$931,000)
The investor's wallet contained 9.45 GOATs worth $1.49 million. Theoretically, his initial investment increased 3329 times to $2.42 million.
Commentators suspected insider trading.
A user under the nickname CryptoLord NE also expressed the opinion that this looks like a scheme: the creator buys the coin for one wallet and “pumps” others.
Recall that in September, an unknown investor spent $815 in SOL to buy 30.1 million MOODENG meme coins. After 17 days, the value of the assets rose to $9.4 million.
According to billionaire Mark Cuban, all meme tokens are potentially a “protracted” scam called a rug pull.
