The meme coin madness of 2024 shows no signs of slowing down! Last night, three whale accounts made significant purchases across different regions, focusing on some of the most talked-about meme coins in the market.

The 2024 meme coin season kicked off with tokens like BONK and PEPE and has since expanded to include new favorites like WIF, SLERF, and BOME. Despite the year drawing to a close, the momentum remains strong. Recently, meme coins such as POPCAT, TURBO, NEIRO, and PONKE have been making waves, and the latest whale activity reflects this rising interest.

According to data from Lookonchain, three whales made substantial meme coin purchases last night:

1️⃣ POPCAT Whale: One whale, who previously secured significant profits with POPCAT tokens bought in September, made another strategic move. After reaching a peak of $1.42, this whale sold POPCAT at $1.36, netting a profit of 3.9 million tokens. With part of these gains, the whale acquired GIGA, another meme coin on the Solana blockchain, investing $1.5 million.

2️⃣ SUNDOG Whale: Following the TRON network’s meme coin craze led by Justin Sun, SUNDOG has become a favorite among whales. Another whale jumped in last night, spending $500,000 to acquire 1.66 million SUNDOG tokens. Since its launch in August, SUNDOG has soared by over 500%!

3️⃣ TURBO Whale: A third whale made a splash with a massive 695 million TURBO purchase, worth $4.2 million. This acquisition took place on the Binance exchange, highlighting the growing interest in TURBO, which has been gaining traction since last year and was recently listed on Binance.
