Hal Finney - not #Satoshi Nakamoto!
Jameson Lupp (former chief engineer of BitGo and co-founder of Casa) appears to have proven that legendary cypherpunk Hal Finney is not the real Satoshi Nakamoto
Lupp did some impressive detective work that determined that Satoshi Nakamoto sent an email to Bitcoin developer Mike Hearn 2 minutes before Hal Finney crossed the finish line of a 10-mile race in Santa Barbara, California. In total, Hal ran for 1 hour and 18 minutes, and was guaranteed not to be able to work on the computer during this time
Photos of Hal from that very race are in the archives of his wife, as well as on the PhotoCrazy service, which photographed those events. ID number #591 matches the number from the race results database
So, the search for the true Satoshi can continue. Also, a bottle of champagne is probably now being opened by Dr. Craig Wright, who now again has a chance to disown the nickname Feiktoshi
