💬 Ahead of Tether’s 10th anniversary (10/6), Cointelegraph spoke with Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino about what has helped Tether become one of the most significant and profitable players in the industry.

🗣 “I think Tether is the US government’s best friend because we hold more US Treasuries [$98 billion] than Germany, more than any other competitor or any other financial institution in the world,” Ardoino said.

🗣 “Tether is the only stablecoin that has joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Secret Service,” he said, noting that the company also cooperates with 180 law enforcement agencies in 45 countries.
