One of the largest payment processors PayPal announced the first financial transaction using its own stablecoin PYUSD when paying an invoice of the international audit firm Ernst & Young. Technological assistance in supporting the first business transaction between PayPal and Ernst & Young was provided by the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. The funds were sent through the corporate digital currency hub of the exchange and credited to the account of the accounting firm Coinbase. The amount paid by PayPal has not been disclosed
