Ripple Ready to File a Counter Appeal Against the SEC
Ripple General Counsel Stuart Alderothy said that "the SEC's decision to appeal is disappointing, but not surprising." He recalled that the court had already ruled that the company was NOT engaged in fraud.
He also drew attention to an interesting fact - the head of the SEC's enforcement department announced his resignation about an hour before the appeal was filed.
