PANews reported on October 3rd that according to Coindesk, Ripple has partnered with Brazilian exchange Mercado Bitcoin to launch an enterprise-centric payment solution that allows users to trade in Brazilian reals while using the Ripple platform to improve its internal funding operations between Brazil and Portugal. Silvio Pegado, managing director of Ripple Latin America, said in a statement: "The features provided by Ripple Payments are critical to cryptocurrency companies, enabling them to streamline operations, optimize liquidity, and ultimately increase profit margins through real-time payment settlements."
