Aptos Labs has announced an agreement to acquire HashPalette Inc., a prominent Japanese blockchain developer known for its Palette product. The deal will make Aptos the exclusive blockchain provider for EXPO2025 DIGITAL WALLET at Expo 2025, taking place in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
In addition, it is expected that Palette Chain's governance token, PLT, will be converted to Aptos' native token, APT. This acquisition will not only expand Aptos' presence in the Japanese market, but also create opportunities for the development and application of blockchain technology in major events such as Expo 2025.
