đ The new regulations ban the use of security tokens like Monero in the EU. Kraken has already discontinued XMR in Ireland, Belgium, and the UK. Other countries such as Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Dubai have also banned security tokens.
đ Following the announcement, the price of XMR dropped by 8%, from $154 to $141. The overall crypto market is also down 6.3% in the past 24 hours.
