Hey, XRP Army! Ripple has just reminded us all to beware of false claims that their stablecoin, RLUSD, is live. In fact, RLUSD is still in private beta testing, so don't be fooled!
- Ripple announced RLUSD which will be pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and available on XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum.
- Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse hopes RLUSD can be a bridge between crypto and traditional finance.
- Last week, Ripple minted over 800,000 RLUSD, sparking speculation that the stablecoin is live. However, Ripple confirmed that it is not yet available.
