ChainCatcher reported that according to The Block, several crypto industry leaders requested a meeting with the campaign policy team of US Vice President Harris and running mate Tim Walz this month to discuss policy recommendations to promote innovation and inclusion.
In a letter sent to the campaign policy team on Tuesday, Nat'l Policy Network WOC Blockchain founder Cleve Mesidor, Black Women Blockchain Committee founder Olayinka Odeniran and Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law School professor Tonya Evans and others called for the establishment of a regulatory framework for Web3 and DeFi to encourage innovation in the United States. More than 20 people signed the letter.
