In Uzbekistan, people will be jailed for trading Hamster Kombat tokens🐹

The National Agency for Promising Projects of the Republic

of Uzbekistan published a statement notifying that illegal trading of Hamster Kombat tokens (HMSTR)

is punishable by a fine of up to $790 or arrest for 15 days.

According to current legislation, coins issued by the developers of the Hamster Kombat clicker game, like any other virtual currencies, can only be bought and sold on the platforms of national cryptocurrency service providers that have received licenses from the government. The official portal of the agency provides a list of companies that have the right to carry out transactions with digital assets.

An interesting nuance is that this list does not include a single cryptocurrency exchange that previously listed HMSTR tokens. That is, residents of Uzbekistan cannot yet legally trade

Hamster Kombat. The department believes that digital assets similar to HMSTR are excessively volatile and have no practical value for the industry.
