Moonbix, a mini-game initiated by the Binance community on Telegram Mini DApp, has recently been surrounded by rumors regarding the “launch of Moonbix Coin.” However, the Moonbix team has officially clarified that these rumors are baseless.
Official explanation from Moonbix team about the rumor
Similar to the popular web game “Gold Miner,” the game allows players to earn points by controlling an astronaut on a spaceship to collect gold coins and gift boxes while avoiding bombs. Players can also earn points by logging in daily, following Moonbix’s social media, inviting friends, and linking their Binance account.
Despite rumors of a possible airdrop of some tokens, the Moonbix team has denied creating any coins and has no plans to release game tokens.
“We have noticed some rumors circulating about the launch of Moonbix Coin. To be clear, our team is not introducing any such coin and there are no plans for gaming tokens. Any claims to the contrary are misleading, so please be cautious and make sure to check for updates directly from our official channels. Your safety is always our top priority. Stay safe, stay informed, and always double-check your sources!”

Moonbix Game Attracts Millions Without Coin Launch Plan
The game boasts 17 million online players and over 5.6 million channel subscribers as of October 1, 2024.
According to Binance’s customer support team, the game’s initial release was accidentally leaked ahead of its scheduled release date of September 18. While some community members speculated about potential token airdrops sponsored by various projects other than BNB, the Moonbix team’s recent statement contradicts these assumptions.
