Frightening development in Ripple (XRP): Scam allegations are increasing!

Ripple (93603745416) has released a new statement announcing that its stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD) is in beta.

Ripple noted that despite some on-chain data emerging regarding RLUSD, the stablecoin is not yet available for public use. The company warned users to be wary of scammers and emphasized that any claims regarding the distribution of RLUSD are likely scams. Ripple also urged them to follow official updates and be careful of potential scams.

Ripple's latest announcement about RLUSD comes amid increasing speculation about the stablecoin. In a private beta test that began on August 9, Ripple minted some RLUSD tokens on the Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum networks. The company minted more than 1.7 million RLUSD in just five days.

Speculations have gained momentum after Vet, a prominent figure in the XRP community, stated that Ripple had printed 99 percent of the supply of RLUSD in 24 hours. Vet’s comment sparked speculation that the company was preparing for the stablecoin’s mainnet launch.

As speculation about the stablecoin’s launch has increased, so has scam-related activity. Vet warned members of the XRP community that they could be scammed.

In addition, malicious actors are hoping to scam investors by claiming that the distribution of RLUSD has begun. However, Ripple denied these malicious claims, emphasizing that RLUSD is not yet available for public use. Ripple’s future announcements are eagerly awaited.
