Binance Kazakhstan became the first cryptocurrency exchange to obtain a license in Kazakhstan to provide a full range of services related to trading digital assets.

According to the data published in the registry, the Astana Financial Services Authority has authorized the Kazakhstan representative office of Binance to:

Provide a service for storing virtual currencies;

Manage the operation of the trading platform;

Engage in investment activities by acting as a broker-dealer.

Officials approved Binance Kazakhstan's application for a license following thorough checks, including a financial audit, an assessment of the company's governance standards, and an analysis of anti-money laundering mechanisms. Therefore, the cryptocurrency exchange's operations are fully compliant with legal requirements.

Binance's Head of Regional Markets Vishal Sachindran called Kazakhstan an innovative hub of Central Asia. He noted that this country is ideal for launching virtual currency trading due to its advanced regulatory measures and safe environment. Due to these advantages, the turnover of digital assets in Kazakhstan should almost double this year and reach $104.4 million. However, in 2025, this figure is predicted to decrease by 3%.
