Binance and BitMart to List EigenLayer Token ($EIGEN)

EigenLayer ($EIGEN), a new token on the Ethereum blockchain introducing a feature called restaking, will soon be listed on the cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and BitMart. Binance will begin trading for $EIGEN pairsâEIGEN/BTC, EIGEN/USDT, EIGEN/FDUSD, and EIGEN/TRYâstarting October 1, 2024. BitMart will also open trading for the EIGEN/USDT pair on the same date.
Restaking allows users to reuse their staked ETH on Ethereum's consensus layer. The listings on Binance and BitMart are expected to boost EIGEN's visibility and make it more accessible to traders.
Trading on Binance will start at 5:00 AM UTC on October 1, 2024, with deposits already available. Withdrawals will be enabled on October 2, 2024, at 5:00 AM UTC. There is no listing fee for EIGEN. On BitMart, withdrawals will open at 5:00 AM UTC on October 1, 2024.
Within 24 hours of listing, trading bots and spot copy trading will be available for EIGEN. However, the token will be tagged as a âseed token,â indicating it has a higher risk profile. This marks an important step for EigenLayer, and it may lead to greater adoption of the restaking concept.
As EIGEN is a new and volatile token, users are advised to approach trading with caution and conduct thorough research.
