An anonymous whale has sold off a staggering $59.08 million worth of ETH in a brief two-day period, according to data from blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain. The massive ETH selloff commenced with the withdrawal of 24,000 ETH ($63.07 million) from popular staking platform Lido. Subsequently, 22,480 ETH ($59.08 million) was transferred to Coinbase via multiple addresses. Currently, the whale's address holds approximately 7,000 ETH, valued at $18.37 million. The significant sell-off has undoubtedly impacted the market, contributing to the current ETH price of $2,627.45, a modest increase of 0.97%, as per CoinMarketCap. The identity of the anonymous whale remains shrouded in mystery, and the reasons behind the substantial ETH sale are yet to be disclosed.
