Choose the appropriate output direction
First-level project investment research, secondary trading opportunity analysis, hair hunter, overall economic market analysis, on-chain data indicator interpretation, etc., each have different thresholds and business transformation paths. You must not try to get involved in every direction, otherwise the result will be different. With some security technology background and VC experience, I naturally chose the direction of project investment and research. Investment and research is not difficult, but the most important thing is long-term output and value accumulation.
Find the precise user groups to serve
The Crypto market is very complex. There are wealth crypto chasers who want to make money, Builders who have long been pursuing industry gains, and novices who follow market hot spots. Think clearly about which group of people you want to serve. Recommending wealth passwords is easy to overturn, and blindly chasing hot spots is easy to be exploited. I chose to serve the Builder group. Although this group of people rarely participate in interactions, their long-term knowledge contributions will be remembered.
Find your own content style and tone
Some people can tell gossip stories vividly, some people can sort out investment targets down to the bone, and some people can mine investment opportunities through on-chain data. But I chose the unique perspective of "technology + business" in order to bring out the unfamiliar. Technical concepts are explained in an easy-to-understand manner. It’s not easy to do this, but the process of exporting rare technologies, your own learning and improvement, and your contribution to the industry inspire a sense of accomplishment.
Don't just pursue traffic
IP > Influence > Traffic, Crypto currently has a serious misalignment of values. High-quality content, influence, and traffic are not positively correlated, and it is easy to get lost if not grasped properly. Continuously high-quality content can subtly become your IP. You must not just focus on traffic and ignore the content tonality. I am often absent from many discussions on gossip and fight topics, but with the emergence of new technologies and trends in the industry, I believe that the "hard-core man" will definitely appear.
Maintain pure technical pursuit and concentration
You cannot study ZK, zkVM, AI Coprocessor, and FHE if the market sentiment is good today. If the market sentiment is depressed tomorrow, you will continue to shout that the technology is a "scam". Technology is always pure. Being familiar with technological development and industry trends may not necessarily translate into wealth. However, in the long run, "technical" knowledge can improve your ability to cross cycles and the probability of short-term surges in wealth. Don't ask me how I know this.
Keen perspective and critical insight are important
KOL is not a rigid label, but a responsibility to the industry and fan groups. When the mood continues to be low, stay optimistic about the industry and jump out to wave the flag. When the mood Fomo is high, you can calmly criticize some dangerous factors. Of course, you must choose the timing of entry that is in line with your own value judgment, because if you are not careful, you may fall into the trap of "destroying people's financial opportunities" and "helping evildoers".
Technical aesthetics is important, but don’t be biased
The Crypto market is not driven purely by technology. Innovation paradigms, meme culture, and FOMO hype may all lead to a massive reshuffle of wealth and cognition. A certain threshold of technical Sense will allow you to filter out some low-quality project solutions. and topics, protecting limited attention is not a reason to exclude accepting new things. There is an "aesthetic" pursuit, but we must also appropriately cater to the market's choices.
There is no conflict between influence “realization” and value “contribution”
There are many ways to monetize high-quality content, such as paid subscriptions, project ambassadors, institutional advisors, paid advertising, grant funding, etc. If you can adhere to the high quality of each piece of content and the objective rationality of each output, the "value contribution" will be very important. If a good coat is always criticized for being too popular, you must reflect on whether the "content" itself ignores the value.

It’s difficult to balance doing transactions and producing high-quality content
Creating content is the work of an ascetic. You need to stay calm and not be swayed by the emotions of the secondary market. What you get is the self-motivated spirit after output. Trading is the result of frequent trial and error and the cultivation of character. It is difficult to avoid emotional fluctuations. What you get is the pleasure of dopamine secretion of increasing wealth. It’s difficult to maintain high-quality creations and the image of a trading guru at the same time. The ability to trade is an added value for content creators.
Have insights and extended thinking on major narratives and trends
Narrative topics such as modularization, chain abstraction, AI+Web3, parallel EVM, zkVM, AVS, and Preconf that appear in the market are industry trends jointly promoted by VCs, developers, users and other markets. The logical structure and trend evolution behind the narrative require continuous thinking and value guidance. Guidance or criticism are of direct value to the evolution of trends.
