$2 MILLION LOOTED FROM BEDROCK
Hackers have looted $2 million from Bedrock, a crypto restaking protocol, exploiting a vulnerability in their smart contracts.
The attack allowed them to mint synthetic Bitcoin (uniBTC) and swap it for Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC), mainly draining liquidity from Uniswap.
Bedrock claims theyâve addressed the issue and reassured customers their assets are now secure, but the incident impacts liquidity across eight different blockchain networks.
