PANews reported on September 28 that according to Jinshi, driven by both fund inflows and market gains, the total assets of U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) exceeded the $10 trillion mark for the first time this week. So far this year, investors have invested $691 billion in ETFs, and U.S. stock indexes continue to set new historical records. Amrita Nandakumar, president of Vident Asset Management, said the growth of ETFs is "incredible," especially considering that it took only 14 years for the ETF ecosystem to grow from $1 trillion to $10 trillion. She also pointed out: "Today, ETFs now cover almost all types of assets and investment strategies that were previously only available to the world's most sophisticated institutional investors." Jillian DelSignore, head of global investor distribution strategy at Nasdaq Global Index Group, said: "ETFs are becoming the preferred tool for investors, and we will continue to see new investment opportunities as the private equity market evolves and outcome-oriented strategies continue to develop."
