According to BlockBeats, on September 28, the cross-chain interoperability network Axelar (AXL) recently released a video on the social platform with the caption "Beyond your imagination. October 3, 2024." It implies that major progress of the project will be announced on October 3.

According to community speculation, the latest progress of the project may be related to the Axelar Interchain Amplifier, which seamlessly connects a wide range of blockchain consensus engines and traditional off-chain systems and greatly reduces the cost of developers. It can automatically connect to any type of blockchain, and the new cross-chain connection is exposed through smart contracts rather than through the protocol layer.

BlockBeats previously reported that on May 6, Axelar (AXL) announced that it would cross-chain interconnection between Bitcoin, Hedera and Polkadot ecosystems. Bitcoin L2 network Stacks, open source proof-of-stake blockchain Hedera, Moonriver Network and privacy network Iron Fish will be the first phase of the Axelar Interchain Amplifier pilot program to achieve one-click programmable interoperability.

As of the time of writing, AXL is trading at $0.7024, up 27.69% over the past seven days.
