This important businessman was released and paid a fine of 50 million dollars.

Zhao will not be returning to Binance. According to Binance’s plea agreement filed on Nov. 21, the cryptocurrency firm agreed that Zhao is prohibited from “any present or future involvement in the operation or management” of the exchange.

In Zhao's farewell message on X, he hinted that he would like to dive into the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector. With his fortune, he could support specific projects through passive investment and be part of startups in “blockchain/Web3/DeFi, AI, and biotech.”

Although he said he doesn't see himself leading a startup as CEO, it's hard to believe that an entrepreneur like Zhao would sit on the sidelines and not participate in the thriving cryptocurrency sector.

Zhao is open to the possibility of helping upcoming entrepreneurs as a coach or mentor. That would be very important.

Friends, without a doubt, Binance is the best exchange in the world. It prepares and trains us in this modern world of finance. Thank you for your support.
