Seoul-based firm Hogreen Air has introduced the world's first hydrogen-powered drone with an impressive 5,800-mile range at the H2 Mobility Energy Environment Technology (MEET) conference. This innovative UAV, designed for surveillance and reconnaissance, can fly for up to 14 hours and features advanced communication systems, including radio frequency and LTE/5G.

Notably, it recently achieved remote operation from South Korea to Germany and the US. Utilizing liquified hydrogen, which is 800 times denser than hydrogen gas, the drone can carry a 10 kg payload and emits only pure water vapor.

Hogreen Air's focus on green energy and high-performance PEM fuel cell technology ensures reliable, long-endurance flights with minimal noise and environmental impact. This breakthrough promises significant advancements in long-range drone operations across various sectors, including defense, agriculture, and search-and-rescue missions.
