At the latest Ethereum developer meeting, the Pectra upgrade was discussed. It was decided to include eight EIPs from Devnet 3 and consider four more related to the blob fee market. Vitalik Buterin and EF researcher Dankrad Feist supported increasing blob capacity, but opinions were divided. Tim Beiko confirmed that the next hard fork will be called Fusaka and will include PeerDAS and EOF EIPs. 🚀

The developers also decided to split Pectra into two packages to simplify the process and reduce risks. This will allow for more controlled and efficient implementation of changes. Pectra is planned to launch in Q1 2025. 🌐
