According to FBI documents, Iza paid three police officers up to $280,000 per month to obtain search warrants and sensitive information in an attempt to coerce the victim E.Z. to hand over cryptocurrency. In an attempted kidnapping, E.Z. was coerced by two former LASD police officers in an SUV, and Iza was accused of being involved in the incident. Iza is also suspected of sending threatening messages and law enforcement data photos to E.Z., threatening his safety. The FBI investigation also found that Iza bribed police officers through his company and his girlfriend's business, totaling nearly $200,000, and was suspected of evading taxes of tens of millions of dollars. Currently, Iza faces multiple charges, including rights violations and tax evasion conspiracy.
