Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) will walk out of prison as a free man for the first time in months on Friday, taking his $60 billion fortune with him. Zhao was sentenced to four months in prison for failing to implement adequate anti-money laundering controls at Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange.

Chao will be released this Friday, two days earlier than her official release date (if the release date falls on a weekend, prisoners will leave the prison early), and he may be driven to Long Beach or Los Angeles to catch a private plane. Chao's first stop after his release will reportedly be Dubai or Paris, where his children will live with their mother, Ye He (also a Binance executive).

One of the reasons Zhao Lijian was sentenced to four months in prison was because of his many charitable activities, which proved his character. "In this new chapter of my life, I want to provide opportunities for others, especially our young people. I am building a platform to provide free, high-quality education to poor children around the world," Zhao Lijian said at the sentencing hearing.

It is expected that his next venture after his release from prison may be his charity project - Giggle Academy, which aims to create free, fun and easy-to-use learning tools for children around the world.

In addition to his family and philanthropy, the now-released Zhao Changpeng may also turn his attention to Binance, becoming the company's largest shareholder, although under the terms of the criminal settlement, he was required to resign as Binance CEO and not be involved in "day-to-day" activities involving the company. CEO Richard Teng also recently confirmed that Zhao Changpeng was banned from managing Binance's operations. jmay1130
