CZ will be released early this Friday, two days earlier than originally scheduled. Why? Because the rule is that if the release date hits the weekend, the prisoner can leave early, without waiting until Monday.
Since April, CZ has been in federal detention after agreeing to return to the United States from Dubai. He first spent two months in a minimum security prison in the California desert, and then was moved to a halfway house in Long Beach. According to his friends in prison, he can go out and move around there, and there are people to supervise him, and he can even go to the cinema to watch a movie, which is quite comfortable.
CZ's lawyer said that he didn't want to be interviewed on the day he was released from prison, and wanted to keep a low profile.
