Crypto analyst Levi Rietveld predicted that Ripple (XRP) could rise to $100 based on Michael Saylor's recent comments.
MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor, who attracted attention with his positive views on Bitcoin, surprised the crypto world by stating in a CNBC interview that BTC could reach 7 percent of the world's capital. Saylor emphasized that Bitcoin is a safer asset compared to government currencies.
According to Saylor, Bitcoin has the potential to reach $13 million in the next 21 years. Rietveld also stated that XRP could rise to $100 in line with these statements. At the time of writing, XRP was trading at around $0.580. Rietveld thinks that if Bitcoin reaches Saylor’s predicted $13 million, XRP could also make a significant leap.
At its current price, Bitcoin is hovering around $63,500 and would need to increase more than 200-fold to reach that level. If that happens, Bitcoin’s market cap would increase to $273 trillion. Bitcoin accounts for more than half of the global crypto market cap, and if it reaches $13 million, its total market cap would exceed $546 trillion. Rietveld thinks that XRP will benefit significantly from Bitcoin’s expected 20,300 percent growth; in that case, XRP’s value could rise to $120.
