Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, was in Brazil this Thursday (26) to present a significant investment of R$14.7 billion in cloud infrastructure in Brazil. The investment will be made over the next three years.

The executive made the announcement during a Microsoft event at Expo Center Norte. The event also discussed the potential economic and social impacts of these initiatives. Microsoft's strategy will focus on four areas of investment, aiming to offer the best performance in AI for organizations, developers and users.

Furthermore, one of the most important pillars of this plan is the continued investment in silicon and technology infrastructure that has been developed over the past three years in partnership with companies such as NVIDIA and AMD. Microsoft has also announced that it is investing in its own chips, such as Maya, to improve the efficiency of AI operations.
