A Utah judge has ruled that the SEC's lawsuit against Green United can go to trial. The SEC accuses Green United of scamming investors out of $18M by selling fake crypto mining equipment through a multi-level marketing scheme. Investors were promised 40-50% monthly returns but never received the equipment, only worthless GREEN tokens.

Green United's founder allegedly used the funds to buy S9 Antminers to mine bitcoin for himself. The judge ruled the SEC has sufficiently alleged fraud to proceed.
