Solana Labs partners with Google Cloud to launch Web3 API

The new Gameshift service will act as a bridge from Web2 to Web3 for developers.

Solana Labs and Google Cloud recently launched Gameshift, a game development API that aims to connect traditional Web2 experiences with Web3 services like blockchain and digital asset management.

The new toolkit was announced at the Solana Breakpoint 2024 conference during the Gamer Village side event. Gameshift is the next phase of the expanded partnership between the two companies and is currently available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.

A Bridge from Web2 to Web3

According to a blog post from Google Cloud, Gameshift is an API that provides a full suite of core Web3 services for projects hosted within the cloud ecosystem.
