The Hamster Kombat team has revealed new rules for the airdrop scheduled for September 26, causing outrage among active players.

According to the tweet, users will only be able to receive 88.75% of the allocated HMSTR tokens on day one. The remaining coins will be reserved for 10 months, until approximately July 2025.

In addition to the unexpected vesting, the developers gave significant preference in distributing tokens to referral leaders, as well as large holders of in-game keys. Regular users, taking into account the price of HMSTR on the OKX premarket ($0.008), will receive from $10 to $60 for six months of daily visits to the clicker.

According to internal statistics, out of 300 million players, only 129 million are eligible to receive tokens. About 2.3 million of the total number of users are excluded from the drop for cheating.

The hashtag#boycotthamsterkombathas become a trending topic, with over 22,000 tweets at the time of writing.

"I played for four months, collected over 200 keys, earned 8.36 million every hour, followed the cards by the alarm. Now you tell me that I do not deserve anything. Hamster are scammers," writes one angry user.

The airdrop is expected to distribute 60 billion of the 100 billion HMSTR tokens, with another 15 billion reserved for the game's second season.

Let us recall that the listing of the HMSTR meme token was announced by the cryptocurrency exchanges Binance, OKX and Bybit.

Earlier, the Hamster Kombat team announced the end of the first stage and the beginning of the intermediate stage, during which players will be able to earn diamonds.
