The number of underemployed Americans is soaring:
The number of part-time workers seeking full-time work rose 14.4% to 4.8 million in August, the highest level since May 2021.
Since October 2022, the number has soared by 1.1 million, or 32%.
Over the past 45 years, such surges have always been accompanied by recessions.
The number of full-time employees fell by 1 million last year and has fallen for seven consecutive months.
The job market continues to deteriorate rapidly.
