HMSTR has revealed how it banned over 2.3 million players in a move to protect the integrity of the gaming community. The company behind the game Hamster Combat announced that it has banned over 2.3 million accounts for violating the rules, enough to fill a city like Rome. This move came after it discovered major violations that were affecting the fair gaming experience.

Among the most notable cases discovered, there was a player who linked more than 400 accounts to a single address on the Binance platform, and a second player who tried to exploit the system by inviting around 2,000 “friends,” all of whom were detected by the advanced anti-fraud system.

The company explained that it had been monitoring player behavior for months leading up to the coin drop. They discovered accounts logging in at the same time every day and repeatedly clicking on the same area of the screen, indicating they were using bots.

Due to these measures, the company withdrew 6.8 billion coins from the violating accounts. 50% of these coins were distributed to honest players, and the other half will be burned to reduce its impact on the game economy.

The company said that violators use automated programs to make quick profits at the expense of regular players, and that these practices harm the community and jeopardize the continuity of the game. The goal is to protect real players, especially those who invest in the long term, and ensure a fair and balanced experience for everyone.
