Hamster Kombat, the widely popular gaming platform, recently completed its first season, marking a significant milestone with over 300 million players joining the game since its launch on March 26, 2024. Out of this massive player base, 131 million users qualified for the anticipated $HMSTR token airdrop, which will happen on September 26. However, approximately 2.3 million players were banned for cheating during the game’s season.

However, out of the pool, 30.6 million qualified users have not selected the withdrawal option. The game developers sought to calm the players down by informing them that the unclaimed tokens are still out there and are still capable of being claimed.

Distribution of $HMSTR Tokens for Season 1 Airdrop

25% of $HMSTR tokens out of a total of 100 billion has been reserved for the community. Additionally, 60% of the tokens will be distributed after the completion of Season 1. Out of this 60%; users will get 88.75% of their assigned tokens right after the airdrop takes place. The last 11.25% will be vested and these tokens will be released ten months after listing on exchanges.

Furthermore, in the second season of the game, which will be launched soon, the rest of 15% of the $HMSTR tokens will also be issued. The Hamster Kombat development team has also hinted at improving the fun attempt during the Interlude period as well as in the subsequent second season, to maintain the platform’s growth.
