Bitcoin has been showing an interesting trend over the past week, however, Bittensor (TAO) has emerged as the biggest gainer. While the big winners posted double-digit gains, the losers, led by KuCoin, saw single-digit losses.
Top Gaining Coins of the Week
Bittensor [TAO]
Bittensor [TAO] started the week with a wild swing, starting with consecutive drops of over 7% and 4%, which brought its price down to around $288.3. However, TAO recovered with consecutive uptrends, ending the week trading near $470 and recording a gain of over 15% for the week.
According to CoinMarketCap, TAO is the top gainer of the week with a 40.5% increase. Its market capitalization is over $3.4 billion, with a trading volume of over $188 million, up more than 30% in the last 24 hours. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains in overbought territory, indicating that the uptrend is still going strong.
Phantom [FTM]
Fantom [FTM] also had a volatile week, starting at around $0.48 and rising to around $0.67 by the end of the week.
According to CoinMarketCap, FTM is the second highest gainer, up nearly 37%. Its market capitalization is over $1.8 billion, although trading volume has dropped by more than 8%, currently standing at around $197 million.
Sui [SUI]
Sui [SUI] is the 3rd biggest winner, with a gain of nearly 34% over the past week. SUI started the week at around $1 and rose to around $1.4.
Its market capitalization is around $3.8 billion, however, it has seen a slight decline of more than 2%. Trading volume has dropped significantly, more than 50%, with a value of $395 million as of this writing.
Losing Coins of the Week
KuCoin Token [KCS]
KuCoin Token [KCS] leads the list of losers with a drop of nearly 7%, making it the biggest loser of the week, according to CoinMarketCap.
KCS started the week trading near $8.2 and gradually fell to around $7.4 by the end of the week. Its market capitalization was over $896 million, up slightly more than 1%, and its trading volume was around $771,626, up more than 8%.
Kaspa [KAS]
Kaspa [KAS] was the second biggest loser, falling from $0.177 to around $0.170 over the weekend, losing more than 5.6% of its value.
Its market capitalization is estimated at around $4.1 billion, down 1%, while trading volume has dropped more than 40%, now around $24.2 million.
Internet Computer [ICP]
Internet Computer [ICP] has experienced three consecutive days of decline this week, with the price dropping to around $7.9.
Despite a few positive days, ICP ended the trading week at around $8.50, marking a total decline of more than 5%.
Despite this, ICP’s trend remains mildly positive, with the RSI still above the neutral line. Its market capitalization is around $3.9 billion, down 1%, while trading volume has dropped by more than 30%, currently standing at around $58.8 million.
