• Hamster Kombat is 3 days away from launching the HMSTR token and the HMSTR airdrop.

  • The allocation for the airdrop reveals a greater allocation to influencers over real users.

  • This has led enraged and disappointed users to join the movement in boycotting the project.

Amid the bullish sentiment of Bitcoin (BTC) and the start of altseason, one popular crypto project community feels scorned and calls for a boycott of the platform. Hamster Kombat is one of the most popular crypto projects on the TON ecosystem and was set to bring incredible gains to its users.

Hamster Kombat Faces Boycott Threat

However, the latest token allocation plan from the project has led to enraged community members. The real users of the exciting GameFi crypto project Hamster Kombat which garnered hundreds of thousands of users in an incredibly short time now faces a new challenge that could lead to a huge platform boycott.

In detail, Hamster Kombat was supposed to kickstart the launch of its native HMSTR token. These tokens were meant to be proportionate to the rewards real users had earned on the platform by engaging with the game and inviting new users to the ecosystem. Having done just that and amassed massive rewards, these real users are now not pleased with the airdrop token allocation plan.

Real Users Enraged Over HMSTR Token Allocation Plan

Specifically, the airdrop is to take place on September 26, after having been postponed since July. The airdrop is also set to take place simultaneously alongside the token launch event. Despite the delay, users remained eager, until they saw the token allocation plan.

As we can see from the post above, this member of the Hamster Token community and leader in the crypto space claims Hamster Kombat has cheated the community. Based on the allocation plan, a larger share of tokens has been allocated to YouTubers and Influencers leaving real users extremely upset.

This has led to a trending #boycotthamsterkombat call on the TwitterX crypto space. Many have begun to unfollow and drop the project. The impact of this movement will likely be realized on September 26, when Hamster Kombat’s token HMSTR will go live.
