Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced on Sunday (September 22) that he would officially issue Trump Coins with a face value of $100, saying that this is the only official coin designed by him. The move is aimed at raising campaign funds to fight against Vice President Kamala Harris and actively prepare for the November presidential election.
"The only official coin designed by me and minted on American soil, this limited edition TRUMP silver medallion is a symbol of the fight for freedom and liberty, and for putting America first. More than just a collector's item, it's a testament to the resilience and strength of the American people, our beloved American patriots," Trump said.
In the video he posted on Twitter, he also emphasized: “The TRUMP coin is made of 99.99% pure silver, with exquisite workmanship and uniqueness. Each coin comes with a certificate of authenticity and my personally signed name to prove that you are buying a real TRUMP coin.”

Trump pointed out that the TRUMP coin will be officially launched on September 25, 2024 North American time.
According to the RealTrumpCoin website, the TRUMP coin is the first edition of Trump's silver medallion, and it is honored to produce the only official token designed by Trump. The refined finish refers to the highest quality coins that use a certain process to create a mirror finish. Usually the coins are minted twice, and special polishing dyes and blanks can create clear details and reflective surfaces. This finish is mainly for collectors and is not circulated to the public.

The Guardian reported that Trump needs money, and his campaign team raised one-third of what his Democratic opponent Harris raised in August, and Harris has more money on hand in the final weeks of the 2024 campaign.
