addresses that have been dormant for the past 15 years have moved a total of 250 BTC. These addresses received 50 BTC as mining rewards in 2009. Wallet owners made more than $8 billion in profit with these transactions.

The old Bitcoin addresses began transferring hundreds of BTC worth $63,208 on Friday. Whale-watching bot Whale Alert announced that a total of 250 BTC worth more than $15.9 million was transferred from these five wallets that have been dormant for a long time. According to digital asset tracker Lookonchain, these wallets are associated with Bitcoin miners and each received 50 BTC in January or February 2009.

According to Bitinfocharts data, one of these old wallets first bought 50 BTC on February 2, 2009, and transferred these assets on Friday for a profit of $3.17 million. Other wallets bought 50 BTC in the last days of January 2009, and made similar transactions for a profit of approximately $3.18 million.

Since the price of Bitcoin was below $0.01 in 2009, it is estimated that these wallet owners made a total profit of more than $8 billion. Bitcoin is trading at $63,104 at the time of writing and has gained 17.5% in the last two weeks.

These movements show that early Bitcoin miners and investors are still active and that it is important to monitor large amounts of cryptocurrency transfers. The re-activation of these wallets, which have been inactive for a long time, stands out as a remarkable development in the cryptocurrency world.
