Promoting scams involving XRP

On September 21, the Indian Supreme Court’s YouTube channel was hacked, and the live hearing that was supposed to be broadcast was replaced by scam content involving XRP cryptocurrency.

The hack forced the channel to be temporarily closed, but it was restored later that day.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse responded to this, saying: "Ripple and its executives will never ask you to send us XRP. It is regrettable to see scammers preying on and exploiting innocent cryptocurrency users, and social media platforms allowing such scams to appear. Please be sure to protect yourself."
