**Shezmu hacking incident: Recovering nearly $5 million in stolen funds, investors should be cautious! **

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about a big news in the blockchain world. On September 21, the yield protocol Shezmu suffered a thrilling hacker attack, but fortunately, they quickly recovered nearly $5 million in stolen funds after successfully negotiating with the hacker! 🎉

Here is the thing, this morning Chaofan Shou, co-founder of blockchain analysis company Fuzzland, warned that one of Shezmu's repositories had been hacked. Although it is not yet clear whether this incident was intentional or a real hacker attack, Shou confirmed that about $4.9 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen in this incident.

Shezmu later confirmed that one of its ShezmuUSD (ShezUSD) stablecoin repositories had been attacked. In order to recover the losses as soon as possible, Shezmu took the initiative to urge the hacker to return the funds and expressed its willingness to pay the bounty without pursuing legal responsibility. The hacker responded by asking for a 20% bounty instead of the initial 10%. Shezmu eventually agreed to pay this bounty.

Within hours, Shezmu began recovering the stolen funds, but as of the time of writing, not all funds have been recovered. The Shezmu team urged investors to limit interaction with the protocol’s Oasis vault until further updates are available.

This incident is another reminder that while the blockchain and cryptocurrency space is full of opportunities, it also comes with risks. Investors need to be vigilant and manage risks when participating in any protocol.
