Hamster Kombat, the popular crypto game on Telegram, is gearing up for its highly anticipated token launch on September 26, 2024.

With over 300 million players from both Web2 and Web3 communities, the game has become one of the most popular on the messaging platform since its introduction in March 2024.

As the token launch approaches, Hamster Kombat has announced several key developments. The game will conclude its first season on September 20 at 18:00 UTC, at which point the developers will take a snapshot of the network’s activities. 

This snapshot will play a crucial role in determining token allocations for the upcoming airdrop.

To further incentivize user engagement, Hamster Kombat has introduced a new Earn Program set to begin on September 24.

This program offers users who claim their airdropped tokens through the game’s Telegram wallet the opportunity to earn up to 300% APY for a limited seven-day period. 

To participate, users must select “Wallet” as their airdrop claim method within the Hamster Kombat app.

The game developers have emphasized that the HMSTR token will not be backed by venture capital or institutional investors, a decision made to avoid potential sell pressure that could negatively impact the token’s performance.

Instead, the token’s value will be determined by community demand, supply, and interest.

As players prepare for the airdrop, several factors will influence their token allocations. These include passive income generated through in-game upgrades, completion of earn tasks, inviting friends to join the game, unlocking achievements, subscribing to the official Telegram channel, and collecting keys from mini-games and partner games in the Playground section.
