Golden Finance reported that on September 20, the Financial Services Commission of South Korea stated at the "Future U.S. Government Digital Asset Policy Outlook Forum" held at the Library of Congress that it would actively promote the second phase of virtual asset legislation. Jin Chengzhen, director of the Virtual Assets Section of the Financial Services Commission, emphasized that the U.S. policy trends are of great reference significance to relevant Korean legislation, especially in the fields of security tokens and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). He also pointed out that the importance of global trends and regulatory cooperation is becoming increasingly prominent. The South Korean Congress also stated that it will fully cooperate with the digital asset legislation process, hoping to promote the development of the domestic virtual asset industry.
